Shelly Gehshan

Shelly may be the only certified leadership coach out there with a policy background. She brings to her coaching nearly 30 years of experience as a leader in policy, nonprofit management, philanthropy and advocacy. Her mission is to empower the next generation of mission-driven leaders to thrive and do great work.

Current and future leaders come to Shelly for executive and career coaching because of the unique mix of empathy, role playing, cut-to-the-chase questions, honest feedback and structured inquiry she provides. Her coaching supports professionals in rising to the next level with confidence, strategic communication skills and clarity of purpose. She is certified to administer the Diamond Power Index, DISC and qualitative 360 assessments.

Shelly has a passion for making a difference and a track record of helping others succeed. She has a BA in English from Cornell, and an MPP from the Goldman School of Public Policy at Berkeley. Her professional coaching credential is from the International Coach Federation.
